Pet Vaccinations
Prevention. Wellness. Treatment.
Protecting Cats and Dogs with Preventive Care That Lasts a Lifetime
Vaccinations are one of the easiest and most effective ways to protect your pet from serious, contagious diseases. At Wilson Veterinary Hospital, we provide personalized vaccine recommendations for cats and dogs based on age, lifestyle, and risk factors, so your pet gets the protection they need without unnecessary extras.
Whether you have a new puppy, a growing kitten, or an older pet who needs updated vaccines, our team is here to help you stay on track with a plan that supports long-term health.
Puppy Vaccination Schedule
Puppies need a series of vaccines starting early in life because their immune systems are still developing. This schedule helps build strong protection during the most vulnerable months.

Parasite Prevention and Spay/Neuter Recommendations
We recommend all puppies and kittens begin monthly parasite prevention at 8 weeks old. Parasite prevention is an important part of keeping your pet healthy and protecting your home from unwanted pests.
We also recommend pets be spayed or neutered at 6 months old, based on their overall health and individual needs.
Vaccines for Adult Dogs and Cats
Once your pet completes their puppy or kitten series, we will help you stay current with ongoing vaccine boosters. Adult vaccine schedules can vary depending on lifestyle, travel, exposure to other pets, and overall health.
