Digital Radiology is a technology that allows us to have an image instantaneously that can be measured, interpreted, and shared for a radiologist’s review with the click of a button. Radiology allows us to view the shape, size, and location of structures within the patient. It can be a useful tool when evaluating arthritis or other reasons for pain, examining the gastrointestinal tract, evaluating the cardiac and respiratory systems, and even evaluating internal organs.

Endoscopy is a procedure that uses a long, flexible tube with real-time video to view the internal upper GI tract (esophagus and stomach). There is a channel in this tubing that allows for small instruments to pass, giving the operator the ability to obtain tissue biopsies and even grab ahold of foreign objects for removal in a minimally invasive way.

Ultrasonography is a noninvasive imagery test used for real-time pictures or videos of internal organs or other soft tissues, such as blood vessels. This is often used in the confirmation of pregnancy or to find structural changes of the internal organs.

Video Otoscope is the use of a short, rigid endoscope that uses a video camera to transmit images to a larger screen for magnification. There are channels in this scope that are used to flush and suction from the ear canal in patients with chronic ear infections that are nonresponsive to typical treatments.
